We have a sad duty of informing that  Dr Czesław Okołów, the Director of Białowieża National Park
      in 1993-2003, passed away on 23 August 2016.
      On behalf of the Family of the Departed we would like to inform that the funeral ceremony will
      take place on Friday 26 August 2016, starting with funeral service at 2 p.m. in the parish
      church dedicated to Saint Teresa of the Baby Jesus in Białowieża, followed by the ceremony
      on the parish cemetery in Białowieża.
